Had a discussion last night at our weekly cash game about the odds of hitting a flush with two suited cards by the river. Just curious. Are there any math junkies who can help answer this question(or someone who already knows the answer would be ok)?
Thanks in advance. -
Don't know the true math of it, but I think the odds of 2 unsuited cards winning a hand, and the same 2 cards (but suited), only increases the odds of winning the hand by 4%.

I believe caro's chart has this answer in the back of doyle's book.

I think it's like 10% to flop a flush draw and around 35% to hit it by the river, so would that make the odds of making a flush with 2 suited cards around 3.5%?
