    Has anyone every played poker at this casino. I am not finding much informtaion online about them.

    I like Harrah's and Ameristar in STL. I've never played presidents

    Yeah I have played there. They just recently expanded the poker room to 10 tables spreading 1/2 NL 2/5NL 3/6 Limit and 4/8 Limit. If there is enough interest they will open an Omaha or 7 Stud table. They also have SNG's running around the clock for a $55 buyin. The structure sucks and I would not recommend these.

    When I was there a few years ago they had $55 sit & go's all day til they filled up. I never played any though.

    Good to see im not the only one from St.Louis area; I play on the president every now and then. I used to go every weekend but i got tired of waiting on the sit-n-gos to fill up. I am not a cash game player by nature and thier 1/2 NL low limit no limit,is what they call it there;sucks to me becuase i like 2/5NL. I was no aware that they have 2/5 NL now unless your talking about the Ameristar are Harrahs. All in all you should have fun on the president if your just looking to past the time;And win alittle money in the meantime. People there will not fold top pair no matter what the board shows. You really make a killing here player small pairs,and looking to hit a set. You will most likely bust who ever is on the hook at the time. I have won 2 out of three of thier sit-n-go's there,and they put your picture on the wall of fame if you want. And yes it's winner take all but usually thier will be a deal with the final two.
    I did have one incident with a player that was giving me shit;Becuase he wanted to even chop.I had him like 3-1 in chips and i wanted a $300/$200 split; And at first he did not see things my way and wanted to just play it out. So i won a few more pots and asked him one last time ,and then he agreed. As far as the poker room management at the President;There's a Ex Pro Boxer named Leroy who is funny as hell. Kinda crazy but he's a good guy make sure to check him out while your there he's a character.
    As far as the Ameristar, and Harrahs id like some info on thier tournaments ect. BTW the new casino they are building on the landing iin St Louis;Is going to be the shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got this info from EX-Head of the Casino Queen Sherrell Childress. she now lives in vegas and will starting a job at the Luxor. Im heading to vegas next month for the NHRA drag races,and some Low Limit poker tourneys. Will be my 1st time in Vegas.............................................

    I am also from the St/IL area. I have only heard from people playing at Ameristar. Also there is an organization that has free poker tournies throughout the St. Louis area. Sometimes is sponsored by 590 KFNS.

    Almost forgot to tell ya,that poker player have a free Buffet and drink bar too. It's nothing to write home about,but i love the free meals and soft drinks while i wait to play!!!

    Ummmmmm the President Casino is probably not the best place to play poker in STL. I have had buddies win in the poker room and then get jumped as soon as they walk outside. Your best bet is to play at Ameristar or Harrahs. Nelly actually plays the 2-5NL game at Harrahs so if your luky you can bust a rhyme with him.

    Or bust him in the game. He chases any draw for any amount of money--he's horrendous and has an unlimited bankroll, so he's easy $$.

    i havent been there for over 6 months but they have a plo game that usually runs on friday nights, i wish the upgraded poker room would of hit more because i can be to the president in 5 minutes

    Well I'm going to be there in June for business. I asked about the presidents because it will be within walking distance from my hotel (according to mapquest) and Harrahs is 18 miles away. I'm not sure I will have a car.
