There was a thread that mentioned Negeanu's bankroll. I was curious if anyone knows or has a clue as to what some of the top live players' bankrolls are?
Helmuth
DN
Ivey
Antonius
Ferguson, etc
I'm sure no one has a clue, but it may generate some interesting discussion. -
Not cards wise, but Hellmuth is definetly the most wealthy.
-
Helmuth is far and away the wealthiest. I heard thru the grapevine that ivey is near broke due to sidegames, and losing online.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOL

Ivey has 42" flat panel TV. He is doing just fine.
-
id say brunson and reese have the most money, and the ppl with the biggest stakes in FTP i imagine are banking hard. lederer, ferguson, and possibly ivey. etc.
although barryg has claimed to have made the most money on the table in the last 10 years or whatever
seems like the ppl with the biggest egos get humbled the most though -
I heard from a relatively reliable source that Ivey plays on borrowed money. I could be 100 pct off base, and he could be leveling me, but thats what i have heard
-
From the other 8 at the table?
-
i thought ivey was backed by murder inc or something jay z owns? <<<oops... secret??? lol
also...at this point i cant see how hellmuth wouldnt have the most money. -
I think Waco once said that Tom Mccevoy and TJ cloutier are not only two of the best players around but also the wealthiest:)
-
i keep forgetting where i read this so , it could be wildly off, but Hellmuth is reportedly worth somewhere around 400 million
-
^^^^
That seems way too high. I have absolutely no infomation on this subject, but I would guess that most of the pro's mentioned here have net worths in area of 10-20mil. Hellmuth probably more, due to books, DVDs and UB. -
Hellmuth has over 100 mil.
-
lol@ivey bein broke, hahaha coulda been somewhat richer had he made that call with KK on high stakes last year on flop but being serious this guy is way too good to be broke.
ill throw a suprise out there maybe, howbout jennifer harman? maybe doesnt play all that much now but she was a big game reg be4 and reportedly very successful so im sure she aint got no money probs -
Dewey Tomko is loaded!!!!!!!!!!!
-
How much has sbrugby made?
-
whitealroker is the wealthiest...
-
I can't help but lol @ Ivey being broke or close to it.
The guy is playing high stakes golf for like 7 figures this week, I don't think you do that when you're close to being busto.
I also heard that he has a very large stake in FTP, maybe as high as 49%.
Also, look at all the money he made with The Corporation against Andy Beal. I just can't imagine this guy having $$ problems.
Hellmuth and DN have definetely cashed in on the business side of poker better than anyone I can think of. -
most the money made against beal was by lederer. The reason i heard he was busto was due to high stakes golf and craps. Is it true? Probably not, despite hearing it from a good source. And to the guy who says Ivey is way to good to be broke, Ungar was broke. Lots of the top gamblers are broke. Negraunu has less hten a 3 million dollar roll according to himself. One player who has a lot of money that people dont mention is Lindgren. He stakes many of the live pros
-
I have probably never seen such a ridiculous thread of gossip, hearsay, and nonsense in my life.
-
Theres no way he has 49% of Full Tilt..... Maybe like 10% which would still be very lucrative. Also, it wasnt that long ago people where talking about him reaching 100 million in lifetime winnings from poker...
-
^^^^^^^^^^^^ this is the only statement i believe in this whole thread
-
Ivey probably has the biggest poker BR of all of them. Antonius and Daniel are probably close, Helmuth's poker BR is infinate I guess since he gets his buyins paid for by UB for tourneys and doesn't really play cash, so depending on how you look at it, Helmuth is 0 or a hell of a lot.
As far as straight cash in the bank homey, who knows who cares? I'll speculate anyway, Helmuth has to be #1, Ivey, Daniel and Antonius are probably pretty close. Maybe Antonius is far back because he gets no endorsement dough from an online site, and maybe Ivey is on Helmuths level because he gets mad bank from his share in FTP. Daniel probably markets himself the best, maybe behind Helmuth, but Ivey and Antonius don't really seem interested in endorsements just crushing the highest stakes they can find. -
biggest bankrolls for poker or highest net worth... big difference.
if it is bankrolls then i would think chip reese , barryg, antonious, ivey, david oppenheim, todd brunson, ivey, daniel, bennyamine
if it is net worth then i would throw in Hellmuth, lederer(he is the major owner of fulltilt software from what i understand, doyle, daniel, barry
