  1. Just got an email from them saying their having problems processing check requests (including one that I put in over 2 weeks ago).

I guess the processing time just went from 35 business days to whenever they get around to doing it.

FTP doug -- any insight would be appreciated

  4. If this is true then it's just one more black eye in the full tilt customer service area.

You would figure with all the fraud of Pros having others play on their accounts to represent they are actually on the site and the plagerism they would have enough problems.
  5. Wouldn't you be able to cancel the transaction and open a mywebatm account and withdrawl through that? Mywebatm account setup takes about five days
  6. I got the same message. Why is it that pokerstars can get a check out in four business days but Full Tilt can't get one out in a month?

  7. weird... I requested a check about 2 weeks ago as well and have received no such email.

EDIT: my request was exactly 17 days ago as well...

and they told me 21 business days at that time, so we'll see.
  8. I requested one 17 days ago and have not recieved an email(yet)
  9. what specifically did the email say, bucko?
  10. how many eyes do they have to be blackened?
  11. i suck at copy and pasting but it basically said (paraphrasing) "due to problems outside of our control there has been a delay in processing your check, we are working to have this corrected ASAP, in the meantime heres a $26 token to keep you quiet" they go on to say i could cancel the transaction and use mywebatm

bottom line= sending out a check is like trying to find a cure for cancer

Prediction: Full Tilt posts an ad for a new job opening : "Someone to write checks for us"

  12. It is also my understand that you can't withdraw using mywebatm yet. I e-mailed FTP about it that is what they told me in the e-mail.

    So boo to mywebatm
  13. It would be nice if the sites would just be honest with us, instead of blowing smoke up our asses!
  14. so can we withdraw with epassporte or click2pay?
  15. Here's the email from Full Tilt:

    Dear Clifford,
We are writing to update you on the status of your recent withdrawal request from our site. We processed your request for a check on 09-Feb-07 but, unfortunately, circumstances beyond our control are delaying our ability to deliver your check in a timely manner.

We apologize for this delay and any inconvenience you may be experiencing as a result of this issue. Be assured however, that we are working to resolve this situation as quickly as possible and will deliver your funds to you at the earliest possible time.

As our way of apologizing for this delay, we have credited your account with a $26 tournament token that you may use to enter any of our $24 + $2 tournaments, including our daily Guarantee events.

Because we also believe that you should have full access to all of your funds, we are offering you the option of stopping your check request and placing your money back into your Full Tilt Poker account for withdrawal through another method, such as our new payment processor MyWebATM.

If you do not already have a MyWebATM account, you can quickly create one by visiting http://www.MyWebATM.com and filling out a short application form. Once created, you will be able to quickly transfer funds to and from your MyWebATM account from both your personal bank account and your Full Tilt Poker account.

Please let us know if you would like to cancel your check request while you set up a new payment processor account, or if you would like to us to proceed with your current withdrawal.

Thank you again for your patience and good luck with your free tournament token.

    Sincerely,

    Full Tilt Poker

  16. I wonder if the fact that I didn't receive this email means that my check (which was requested 17 days ago) has been shipped?
  17. Got the same email, Looks like i'm off to create a MyATM Account

  19. Obv brag post about getting free $26 satellite token. So rigged.

Oh and on a side note.....that sucks. I think FTP has made leaps and bounds over the past couple years and has done a great job getting themselves into the top teir of online poker rooms. I hope that in time everything will sort itself out.
  20. Do you suppose that cash flow has anything to do with it???
  21. that may be the real problem and that is frightening. claude
  22. in fact the more i think about it is likely a cash flow issue. being an old guy i had always withdrew by check, first from empire then party. when i used reg mail it was about ten days and when i paid $25 for fedex it was always received within 3 days. to have problems sending by check doesn't make any sense. i know everyone rails against my gloomy predictions but this seems to be more evidence. i hope i'm wrong. claude
  23. i doubt it's a cash flow problem, a site as big as full tilt wouldn't get into that type of trouble unless everybody would cash out at the same time, which is not really the case. i would think it's a problem finding a check processing company. many banks in the US are not refusing the cash checks from certain processing companies that the poker sites used to deal with because of the crackdown and full tilt is trying to figure out how to issue checks now that most of the processing companies are shying away from gambling sites. i think bodog has the same problem as well considering how long it's taking them to mail the checks.
  24. Lets ask this question another way. Is it just USA customers that are having trouble receiving checks or everyone else as well?
