problems focusing

    i have been playing online for around three years now and i have enjoyed some moderate success in mtts over that time. but over that same time period i have played in several live tournaments in both las vegas and in florida. i have won two tourneys in vegas (both at the paris), finished third in another (at the imperial palace), and cashed in two others (one at fitzgerald's and another at the paris). I find that staying focused for four hours alone in my dining room online is very hard but when i play live it is not a problem in fact i stay very alert and focused while playing live. does anyone else have this problem and do you any suggestions for improving online focus and results?

    Ditto thats one of my trouble areas. Unless i smoke a fat bowl of some good dank then i would lose it after an hour or 2. So to combat when i dont have any weed to smoke. I will watch a movie play 2 - 4 tables at once and read forums. That will usually keep my head going to battle it through. But live i can sit for a 8-10 hour session with food breaks etc every few hours and just destroy a cash game crazy i know.

    this is def a common problem id say 4 most people
    i find it easier to focus on tournies then in cash but sometimes i find that u cant put total attention on 1 table or u make more mistakes based on your percieved aggresion of other players
    it just boils down to your motivation and when your lucky lack of sleep(:

    its opposite for me , when i play live i have trouble playing my A game cause its soooo slow and boring

    I hear that i get bored at hell and then lose all my $$$$$! live i can kill it and play for 15 hours
