Are Professional Poker Players considered Self-Employed?

    I have to fill out all this paper work for insurance and such and not sure whether I should check self-employed or unemployed. Anyone know?

    Unemployed get it cheaper for you?

    EDIT: If so, chk this box if you can get by with it for awhile with cheaper pmts. Then, when you have to say ur employed.

    self-employed. ANd that will work better for yo ugetting insurance than unemployed will. Probably get better rates too.

    so i assume piston has never paid taxes?
