  1. seems like every time i am in this situation i ll get played with: 1 the guy called with absolute trash and made a hand or 2 the guy with any two cards will checkraise puting me on big cards at which point i am always stuck making a difficult decision 3 i get put all in preflop by who knows what ax small pair or any two i usually have a pretty tight image at these stages and this is how i usually get knocked out of these tourney in my poker educatiion i ve always thought u give more respect to a player like myself with a tight solid image but recently i have felt like this has been giving these donks license to make thes playes or make these moves on me i am at the point where i feel like bashing my head in to the wall please help before i break something i need ur help desperatly

  8. Typically, but really depends on what kind of outs you have, what you think he has, and obv. how much you are planning on betting. Assuming you are IN POSITION and it's been checked to you, it's usually wise to take a stab (1/2 - 2/3 pot bet), especially if the boards ragged and you have plenty of outs. If you get check-raised, instafold, he has a monster. But hey, better you get caught now when you're representing a big hand than on the turn or river when you catch top pair. Aggression is key, but not overly aggressive. This isn't a cash game, no rebuying.
  9. If you're getting caught, or reraised too much, take into account that you may be playing too aggressive preflop with loose hand requirements. Also, try raising more, especially if you feel he is weak ( small pair, etc). If you price him out, then he usually won't be calling, and you can scoop the pot without any postflop risk.
  10. With rag flops I think it is best to raise preflop with small suited connectors :)
