  1. Okay, I've been playing $6.50 and $16 turbo SnGs for the most part and have been reasonably successful at them. So I decided to use my profits to play Step SnGs (turbos, naturally) and turned a fairly small amount of profit into four Step 4 tix pretty quickly *brag*.

Once I got to the $2M SM on 1/31, I had a tough time figuring out how to play and ended up losing most of my chips to over-aggressive play (mine, mostly).

My question is this: Having gotten used to turbo SnGs, is there any recommended path moving towards MTTs, deep stacks or no?

My bankroll management skills are good enough for me to be realistic about playing in high-stakes tourneys without doing any real damage (or any at all) to my BR.

    Thanks
  2. It can be done...as i moved from playing sngs to playing mtts..

    however a few things...

You are shooting too high...you aren't ready for high or mid stakes mtts..

With that said, you should be able to jump into low limit mtts and do ok...you are probably about a year away from being able to move up in mtts and thats if you work on your game every day for that year.

MTTs are 10x more tougher today than they were a year ago..

  3. watch videos and play low stakes mtts first. you shouldn't expect to be profitable playing sunday majors with just turbo sng experience
