  1. What percentage of the players at a table at various stakes online are amateurs and what percentage are pros would u estimate on average.
  2. 40-50
  3. I would think the higher the stakes the more pros you will find at those levels, obv a few exceptions.
  4. What I would think is, given any single table, you couldn't have more than 20% be pros, since pros need to be winning players, and you can't have much more than 20% of a table be long term winners (since you have to beat rake).

So, my guess is that holds throughout, and it's usually 20% (I think pros are ego driven like other poker players, so they'll occasionally sit with other pros in spots that aren't great for long term earnings just to see where they stand, but for regular grinding, my guess is 20% at most.

Just to expand on this, what are the lowest levels that pros usually play for SNG's, cash?
  5. all a 'pro' designates is that their sole income is from poker... i wouldn't get too caught up in overanalyzing it...
  6. The smallest stakes a "pro" probably plays are $2 SNGs.
  7. I was wondering because it seems weird to me that at high stakes it is usually just pros playing other pros passing their money back and forth and I dont know why they play at those times and only occasionally they will encounter an amateur it seems. And it lower stakes it seems to be almost all pros also the majority of the time.
