Below is a new "FLASH" video for you to try. It includes a popup quiz! Keep trying until you get the correct answer (then the video will proceed). If you need to see the board again to answer the quiz, simply scroll back to an earlier part on the video.
This hand is from the recent UB Sunday $200. I misplayed the hand and am happy it didn't bit me. Let me know if you like the quiz (it's a minor thing but fun).

Mindwise, flat out YOU DA MAN....Todd, if you read this, what an idea...this is one of the greatest teaching tools one could provide. Mindwise talk to Todd or GP about getting some things like this on their site...I would pay TWICE as much for this...what a great idea..

Okay email me the question at mindwise@yahoo.com and I'll check on why the support wasn't answered. Thanks.

I am learning that you actually played the hand just right...you dont want to "protect your hand" against the flush...I am so confused right now...

Well, in my commentary, I say that I'm so very tired of trying to protect a big hand against people chasing flushes. I almost get the sense that if you bet huge, it almost encourages them because there is now "more to win." But, nevertheless, I think simply calling the small bet after the flop is wrong, especially because it is so easy for trip threes to also be beaten by a higher set. A re-raise was needed after the flop I think.

Yay i got it right too =)

Great Blog, BTW, mindwise. I like how you give commentary on your play, but when things don't work out, you ask questions. I like on the "protect your hand" video how you implemented the quiz in there. It's sort of like that "hold 'em or fold 'em" challenges you see on TV or the internet. Best of luck with the blog and video's...I look foward to seeing more in the future.

I like the video and if we all cld have access to the use of it, IT would enhance Hand Histories because as they say a picture paints a thousand words....or something like that.
I like to see things and really enjoyed this illustration, also haven't used the Aruba background ina long time so it was a nice change to see (the little things in life). -
great video mindwise! thanks for sharing!

How did you create that? Id like to be able to do that and share hands with people. Very cool.
