The PS Sunday Million was won by kared69 for $200,558
I wanted to see his stats on OPR and it looks like this was his first day playing mtt's on poker stars. I am not accusing him of anything, I just find it very odd to win the sun mil on your first day playing mtt's.

Do an OPR of the Omaha HI 100r FTOPS from yesterday. Interesting how a few very weak players made a deep run in a game that requires a lot of skill.
ps: There's a p5'er in the FT with no recordson OPR, but he has amazing Omaha results in the past, so OBV. I'm not talking bout him. -

i cashed deep in my first ever omaha tournament having no idea whatsoever what i was doing.
Game is like constant flips for bad players and quite a few manage to win their share of said flips and make it deep. -

during this past ME shows, normal chad said that Moneymaker admitted to losing 40K before he won the ME.

Whats even funnier is that the 7k number of people entered. If you look at it before it starts, there arent 5 thousand satellite players. Where are all these other players during the week? lol
True, alot could be weekend players or players that only play the mil. Whats funnier is when the person with no pokerstars database starts chopping and knows exactly what he is doing. as in, call support ...blah blah blah Also he is playing excellent. They know whats up. They play very solid lol..
If this person knows all of this stuff, dont u think they would have discovered pokerstars before this million dollar tourney? If they are such a great player, they know poker...so thus they know about pokerstars...Seems unlikely that a great player would be playing in his first sunday mil NOW..lololol
Not saying the winner was this type, but it does make you wonder..
But thats why people play...Cuz anyone can win...especially if you wait to play your first official game on the sunday mil.
Someone should find out what these past mil winners are doing now...If the majority never play stars again...or very very rarely...that would be something to talk about.
edit: im not talkin about the lucsacs that get it in bad and still miraculously pull off a major. Cuz thats why so many people play. It could be your day ya know? 20 percent does mean 20 percent. That 20 percent chance of winning....HITS 20 percent!! over a long period of time blah blah blah....i understand that..

Has anyone ever thought that maybe there are other poker sites out there with good players who have never played on stars, decided to take a shot at the Million, open an account, and took it down? I had never played on Sky Poker, took a shot at their 'Open' tournament and won it at the first attempt. OK, not quite in the same league, but someone has to win a tournament, why not someone new to the site? It doesn't necessarily mean they are new to poker.

The guy who took it down last week was also in his first tournie (and he is apparently an Aussie). PStars Australia actually sent out an email and login notification to us here celebrating the fact it was taken down by an aussie and offered some cheap private sattie to this weeks sunday million.

My post was not directed only at this case. Look at the recent 2.5k FTOPS FT and last years stars ME winner had only played a couple of tourneys..oh wait.

A small fast structured omaha tournament that you probably played is a flip feast like you said...but deep stack slow structure omaha requires way more skill then hold'em.

But, What I am saying is that a guy who started playing on stars wins the million on the 1st day, hmmmmm, just makes you wonder.
I have played the million like 40 times and am still waiting, lol.

How many accounts do you think they are creating each week, and remaining anonymous?
Do you honestly think JJ Prodigy is winning the million and ftops events every other week because you haven't heard of the person who won? Do you understand the variance in a field of that size? -
