As much as I know 95% of people could care less. I wanted to make an apology to my friend Dinhjo and also announce my exit from the game.
I have had good bankroll management over the years, however, last week I decided to transfer $400 to the titan poker network and see how it went.
well it went quite fine, Im not here to brag.. far from it actually. But within a few days I had a sizeable amount. For some reason against my better judgement I began playing 25/50 and 50-100 NL.
I went on a kind of tilt unknown to man after getting 2 outtered for all of it.
I proceeded to lose it all on every site. Over $54,000 in about 6 hours.
Long story short I logged into a friends account and lost his money too. Thats how desperate I was to win the money back. The crazy thing is I'm not like that at all. Im not a liar or cheat, and Im not someone who loses his mind at the poker table. But this is what happened, I dont like it and I'm worried that if I can screw over a friend, what else am I capable of when on this kind of tilt.
So to Dinhjo,. Im a scumbag sir and you deserve better friends than me.
And to the rest of you, GL. Im done with this life. -
what?
lordhuttypoker is gone?
along w the tree?
that was such a nice tree -
I'm sorry to hear this. =(
-
I may be back in the future, but after 5 years of full time play I need a break, I need to get my head straight.
-
A couple of payments from his students and he should have a sufficient 100r roll again.
-
Alright, firstly - obviously it's pretty disappointing to know that a person I considered a friend wiped out my stars account, which probably isn't a lot of money to a lot of people, but it was to me. I'd worked hard to build a roll that has essentially been stolen from me.
But there are more important things in life. I'm sure you're a good person at heart & I considered you a good mate. I still do. Shit happens, and we move on from here.
I need to find a way to save up some $$ to put back on Stars since it's one of the few sites which has a decent lineup of tourneys that I can play after work. Luckily, I had registered for the $50K before this happened, and managed a cash, so I'm not 100% busto.
Anyhow, we live & learn. I wish you all the best, sir. I'm pretty disappointed, but not angry. You need to get your life sorted & I will hopefully grind the $$ back. -
din are you kidding? make this scumbag pay you back immed, hes not busto in real life im sure.
-
scam
-
am i the only one who thinks this seems like a sob story where we're supposed to be like "oh poor guy let me ship you some loot?"
edit***seems like future already knows it's a scam -
Well, I don't think he has a ton of cash to his name (although I'm not sure?). He was a poker pro, and his poker roll is busto... so he can't have too much!
I dunno, there's more important things than money, and while it was definintely a significant amount of my online roll (over 50% of the total $$ I have online) in the overall scheme of things, life could be worse I guess. -
out of curiosity
how much did he clean out of your account? -
This sounds like Good cop /Bad cop ........
-
Hmmmmmmmmmmm doubtful its a scam. Most poker players dont just shell out $ to degen's unless they are Mike the mouth or its OT Penny transfers.
I think the guy is generaly sorry for his actions. Sucks though -
Wow, I just want to say what a refreshing post (not that you lost money of course) but the fact you can be straight forward, honest, and sorry for the mistakes you made.
The maturity level shown is something many can and should learn from.
Its nice that instead of Dinhjo going off calling you every name in the book and tearing up your name, he can accept that people make mistakes and truly regret decisions they make.
It still sucks overall, and Im sorry you have to go thru this...
Good Luck to both of you -
wtf?
-
FWIW I always thought you were terrible at poker lordhutty.
That's all. -
Well, the fact of the matter is this... he's fucked up. No questioning that. He has a problem. He is a mate. Í don't know how else to take it.
Getting mad isn't going to get me anywhere. If he has the money, or somehow gets some money, I would hope that he'd try to pay me back, even bit by bit. If he doesn't, there's probably not a lot I can do about it.
I *am* extremely disappointed. I feel betrayed. I don't feel angry though. I want him to fix himself up. If he can do that, then I'd say he's a good enough human being to pay the money back.
I'm not broke. I dón't rely on poker as an income, but it does supplement my 9-5. It was a significant amount of money to me, which I had worked hard to get. But life moves on I guess. Hopefully I'll get it back sometime. -
I dnt think an apology is good enough. Seriously what kind of friend does that to another.
You sir are a piece of shit -
high flush
its really brave to come out with this story and i am sure you will pay back your friend.realise that friendship is much more important then money and it seems that dinhjo is a real friend because of the way he handle this....make up a payback plan toghether and stick to it..........and for the rest i wish you gl in future and let this be a good example for all the rest of us..... -
Questions to Dihjo and HF:
1) Why don't you just pay him back right now?
2) Why are you guys discussing this in a public forum?
3) Why does he have your password?
4) This is a level or a scam right?
I am sick to my stomach delete this post and ship him his money back, and Dihjo what are you guys lovers or something seriously GTFO u both are db pos -
i'm glad a few others realize these guys are running game. in my opinion we're minutes away from one of these guys second accounts making a post like "thats fucked up since your so cool din i'm gonna ship you 25 on stars" and pray that it causes a wave of morons sending him money.
-
you would have to think he's going to get his monies or esle why would OP make the post to begin with...
-
I dont uderstand, you reg for the 50 and the logged off and then he logged on and played on your account the 2 hours before the 50 tourny? Or did he log on and transfer it? The it sounds like is he played on your account, which seems weird , because he would of had to lose the money between the time you reged for the tourny and when it started.
