  2. I would standard raise, not push here. A raise has about the same chance of taking the blinds with much less risk. At least then you would have known you were up against a hand for the sb probably would have reraised and you could have waited for a better spot.

I posted a thread a while ago that was from the bubble of a SNG i won where I was pushing kind of like you did here. I by far discourage this mentality however, even though I won the SNG. I usually do not play like this but had a few reads on my opponents. Even still, I probably was being too aggressive, especially in some of the hands as you will see. Anyways, read the thread and the comments I got and it will give you some insight into how this mentality can get you in trouble. Good luck.

  3. It's not awful. You could limp here to look for a set, or you can shove. Don't like standard raise here to what, $600, then fold if you face resistance? Fold isn't bad either.

    I probably fold or shove.
  4. fold or shove seem like the only two options. I would def shove.
  5. If all your trying to do with 44 is steal the blinds why not just standard raise, or raise say 2.5x BB? If you push, you're asking for a coin flip at best....or to be seriously dominated by a bigger pair as in this situation...
  6. I think, in this situation its push or fold also ....it might depend on if the blinds were defending or not. without any knowledge i prob push aslo.

Also for God there's one limper in this hand already so 2.5Xbb is not an option because it is an auto by call w atc by original limper. and a raise to 600+ would leave about 1200 behind (7-8 bbs) not enough to fold this hand pf...so allin or fold

    My 2 cents
  7. Granted, I agree with you here then...i did not notice the limper...
