  1. hello everyone, i have some trouble with my push-or-fold decisions in sngs.

after my sessions, i alsways check my decisions with the sng-wizard. it seems i push too lose. here an example in which the wizard tells me to fold. i have 8 bb left and utg calls. with my 44 i would normally push here, even though its a very low pair. too lose? i would be thankful for your opinions.

    ps:the limper has about 40% vp$ip

  2. i´m not that experience with sng, playing more mtt but anyways i shove here 100% of the time and take the risk of fliping since with 8bb we def need some chips soon...

couldn´t see how we could fold a pp with 8bb tough...

  3. well matze YOU surely push here, as you push almost any two with about 15 bb left

  4. Don't push to lose...push to win....that's your problem.

i certainly push sometimes very loose but anyway we can´t fold here can we??
i mean 8bb we need to double up or reg for a new one..

  6. I am assuming this to be a 9 man single table tourney. If romanix folds you're shoving any pair, but after his limp utg, he folds very few hands in his range to your shove. I'm folding here unless I think he is really splashing around. 44 seems thin, considering your stack size and the fold equity on a shove.
  7. Your open shove range would be: 28.2%, 22+ A2s+ A7o+ A5o-A4o K7s+ KTo+ Q8s+ QTo+ J8s+ JTo T8s+ 98s 87s

Your call range for his open shove would be: 4.2%, 99+ AQs+ AKo

He didn't open shove but he isn't folding your shove much, I wouldn't open up a re-shove range here much past: 10.9%, 55+ A8s+ A9o+ and maybe not that wide.

ICM ftw - my 2 cents
