  1. OK, Heres a scenario that i was facing....CL had 20k at my table, i had 17k...average in the mtt is 7k.....people at my table have all around 5k

At 100-200 i button raise with QQ to 600...CL in sb pushes all in for 20k...
    WHATS UR PLAY: AND WHY?

I thought for a bit then folded..my thinking was i prob was ahead but poss not and im sure he might had ak or something...I felt there was realoly no reason to call when i am prob 2nd in chips with 50 players left...i can bully the rest of the table and get in when i feel im way ahead.

LIKE TO HEAR WHAT OTHERS WOULD DO HERE AND MORE IMP..WHY??
  2. insta call u vagina
  3. I call, then when he rivers his ace I say, "I was playing to win." then throw shit across the room obv.

EDIT: sup waterfall, I used to play on stars with you a lot as "blubboz"

  4. You have an M of like 50, chip leader isnt risking his whole stack with out AK minimum.

I've only seen JJ turned over here a few times in this situation.

    Fold
  5. Vagina> wtf u talking bout...

Why risk it when im 2nd in chips even if i ahead then..i can outplay the whole table yet u want me to risk it all whens its out of my hands?

I think its an easy fold

  6. then why ask for opinions

  7. Tough call. I'm sure a lot of people will disagree with me but I'm probably calling here. Without really knowing anything about the raiser, I'd put a very small chance of him having KK or AA here. More likely, he is just overdefending his blind, and has something more along the lines of a smaller pair or Ax, though AK is certainly possible. With that reasoning, you're a slight favorite at worst, and very possibly way ahead. Also, you say you can bully the rest of the table, but that might be difficult with the chip leader on your immediate left. If you double up here, you're a monster chip leader and can really put the pressure on everyone else. I'd be very interested to hear what others have to say about this situation.
  8. easy fold at these levels.
  9. I dont pay mooks.
  10. "i can bully the rest of the table and get in when i feel im way ahead."

    ^contradictory statements

    CALL CALL CALL VVFAST.

  11. Man if you are gonna fold in this situation you might as well not even play MTTs......that is not a disrespectful comment.....its the flat out truth....this is a CLEAR positive EV situation and to pass this up would be clear insanity in a Mtt...after you call him and beat his AJ of hearts you can outplay your table with your massive mound of chips....and if he sucks out.....or has AK wins a race then that is just Mtts poker.....NO WAY u run into AA or KK here....just my humble opinion

  12. HOWS IS THAT A CONtradictory statement? EXPLAIN THAT..

I just felt there was no need to battle with this guy..im 2nd in chips in the whole mtt, why battle and EVEN TAKE THE CHANCE OF HIM HAVING KK AA Or more prob.. A x

I was just curious as to what others thought..i feel sometimes u need to fold the best hand and get in when you more ahead...I gUESS NO1 HERE AGREES, LOL

  13. 600 raised to 20k... seems a bit much for aces. seems more like hes trying to establish that hes the one thats going to be picking up the blinds. could be as bad as a10, but im guessing it was something like 9s. i call... pretty quickly.

    also i hate this...
"Why risk it when im 2nd in chips even if i ahead then..i can outplay the whole table yet u want me to risk it all whens its out of my hands?"
you only get to say that if you then went on to win handilly. did you... win? reminds me of the awesome e-money thought. "why take a risk for a whole lot of chips without a huge advantage? why not just fold the better hand and wait for a much better opportunity?"
no offense, really, but youre not that good. i dont think anyones that good. there are times when you dont need to gamble, sure. humberto folded jacks in the main event, thinking he was probably up against ak. but thats the $10k wsop, week-long tourney. this is one online tourney for maybe $100 max? only 2 hands beat you, and his play is so aggressive it makes both seemingly unlikely. youre almost certainly favored, and likely 70-30 or better for a whole mountain of chips.
    CALL
  14. If you're really BULLYING the table, then your money will PROBABLY get in bad.
     2
  15. ANOTHER NOTE: you'll have much more trouble chipping up than you think with an aggressive player with a huge stack directly to your left. Just a thought.

  16. He has AK... do you want to race your stack off? If so call, if not fold.
  17. BRO there is ZERO chance the chipleader of a whole tourney plays AA or KK that way vs the second in chips person esp in blind confrontation of sorts....and i don't know how much you wat to get ahead in a hand but you are ahead 70 percent or more at least.....80 percent of the time.......if you pass up on this..........sighhhhhhh

  18. ty for the replys...i guess maybe i shoulda call...im at the FT now so i guess i didnt do nething horribly wrong..thanks for the input..if i call and he SPIKES AN ACE, ID BE heated....but thanks

    Guess I SHOULDA CALLED

  19. you fold kings also in this spot?

  20. how are you going to bully the table if you are going to keep pussing out to this guys reraises?

If so call, if not fold.

    ^^^^^
  22. Mook heres my reasoning behind it, and let me say first I like the fold.

    1) the blinds are 100-200, why stick 17k in unless u KNOW he does that with ATC. (aka hes overbetting pot 5/6 hands)
    2) EVEN IF U DO HAVE THE BEST HAND, ur probably flipping.

Im gonna go out on a limb and say he was not a tightwad but you still cant call here.

It comes down to one point, what is the risk and what is the reward, and is the reward worth the risk, and the answer to that question is no. He could easily have AA, KK, AKs, QQ, MAYBE JJ but why risk it if more then half his range beats yours?

    good laydown

  23. think this is a must call, whats he shoving here a/x and 2-2 - 10/10, get your chips in as prob a big fav to get a huge chiplead? Yes please

  24. obv I could just give a ''Well its situational'' response Ill just go generally and assume no reads on the player

I will call this in most situations unless I think my opponent is tricky (or bad) enough to play AA or KK like that...

I dont see how people can say you are flipping at best, against a lot of retards in this (and chip leaders are many of the times these retards who built their stack doing retarded shit)

I think there is a better chance he has TT or JJ than there is that he has AA or KK

90 percent of players do not and will not play AA/KK this fast, it is retarded. I think AK would be a likely holding but TT-JJ are not out of the question at all.
  25. I only read half the responses cause it looked like the typical response-battle....

But if you could talk while he is all-in I would type "I would do the same thing if I didn't know how to play 10-10." Then I call and beat his tens.
  26. I agree with pretty much everything illflu said in an post above.

Definitely not an easy call. You could think there is no way he would play AA or KK like that and make the call only to see him turn over aces. Then you feel like a huge tool for calling such an insane bet when you could have found better spots. Although theres a really good chance he has 10's, J's or AK as well. I cant see his range being anymore than that. Tough spot, theres a 75% chance I lay down in that spot. Although after reading some of these posts maybe a 50% chance now.
  27. Mook,
If you're going to ask for advice on this situation, you should be open to the responses you get even if they contradict yours.

With that being said, I can see both sides of the situation but I lean towards calling and if he overbet KK or AA there then I shake his hand. You can just as easily fold here, though.

**EDIT** I noticed you were more receptive to responses later on, so that's very goot news.

  28. call
  29. What a stupid question. Of course he has Aces there. And if he has any other hand he would suck out on you because he is moving his mouse in perfect elliptical shapes (this was stars, right?)
  30. yeah seems like hes trying to push you around. Most likely AK, but im puttin him on 99-1010, i cALL THEN become the new chip leader
