I just got moved to this table and dont know villian -
The fact that he has 3000 exactly and it's in the first hour makes it very likely that he just sat down with late registration. I think that widens his 3-betting range pretty significantly, as a lot of people who enter late are in a "double-up early and get a stack or just bust" kind of mindset. Sure, you had 78 bb before the hand, but it's only a 30 bb effective shove, so I don't think I'm ever folding in this spot.

Great post. The 3000 was a good catch. You can't fold this. Very unlikely he's woken up with a premium. Even if he has you still have a good stack
