searching for a better way to handle this situation
thanks -
Tough hand, but if your goal was to get info with the raise, then you lost the least you could.
-
Damn good fold... I ran into a situation like this with 60 BBs OOP with QQ. Button shoved on me and being not so well stacked, I had to call. He spiked AA, obv.
-
GF at the very best you're racing. He has KK or AA for sure.
-
check BigHems post about a week ago on a hand VERY similar to this one, where he was in one of the blinds with QQ and it was raised and reraised before him. he opted to fold right away instead of putting in another raise and folding to a push
-
You played it right. Nice bet, and laydown. If you just call and the flop leaves you with an overpair, you would've likely lost a whole lot more to his KK or AA than you did lose.
-
ok thanks all, yea i pretty much figured the same thing, if i get repopped i can laydown knowing im behind, unless hes some nut with ak, or something, but i thought that was very very unlikely, and if they both fold i take down a nice pot
the cold caller FWIW had JJ, so three of the top 5 hands going at it 6 handed.......stars loves action, lol -
Very good fold. I cant see him having AK because with that action in front, him shoving AK just doesnt make sense. AA-KK....Very nice fold.
-
i like the info raise idea, however, i might just call the $14 cold...if EP pushes you can still fold...same info from him $18 cheaper...plus you could always spike a Q :)
-
Fold that, don't bother repopping.
-
Not even worth a call? I mean, you can't just put one of them on aces or kings, or even ak in some of these spots, especially if a table has been loosish, then people can be 3betting pretty light.......I was in another spot like this today with QQ it was raised and 3bet to me, and again i wasn't sure what to do. I folded, and it felt like a mistake.
