Need to know how this works in a "standard" backing arrangement for MTTs
Lets assume a backing contract that just started, were the player cant leave while he is in makeup, and there is a 50 50 split of profits.
The backee recieves 100 dollars to enter a tournament, he wins it for 10k. He pays back the initial 100 and they split the 9900.
Next week, the backee recieves another 100 dollars to enter a tourney, and he fails to cash.....is he now 100 dollars in makeup? Despite being up 9800 net profit on the stake? -
So basically, the backee is almost always gonna have makeup? Ive just seen posts where player X finally got out of makeup after a big win. But he is probably just gonna be back in MU after a few days right?

Yeah but if you're consistently winning it doesn't matter if you're like 10k in makeup when you make 20k a week.

Yes.

I'm currently in so much MU that you could bury me.
For fwiw you have to be conscious of your MU figure but you can't let it change your game. Just accept that you're in it and play every day as a new day.
