  1. In a tournament as your M goes down and its a good idea to go ahead and go all in. Is it better to go all in against one opponent or is it better to go against two or more foes ? How does the conflict between winning percentage and implied odds simplify and how does that affect your range of hands to go all in with?

  2. When you are measuring your tournament life, you are matching your stack against what other might call you with. Your main goal is to take down pots uncontested until you have a "real hand."

You would rather not get called unless you have big pairs or something like AKs and have a good opportunity to double through. If you don't have a very good hand; you don't want to get into a confrontation for stacks in a multi-way pot.

You are almost always better off HU. The more hands that see a flop; the more chances that you will be out-flopped.

Your stack size determines what you can and should play.
  3. What about the possibility that you can triple up ?

  4. It happens some times. It happens when you have several players call your all-in trying to knock you out. Not because you have some kind of elaborate trap going in; but because you get smart players trying to take you out.
  5. what if you see a min raise and a call

and you were on the push fold mode with a low M of 4 - 7.

Do you wait to open up the pot or do you still go all in, since you were already going all in anyways

assuming you are going to b efirst to act post flop you can flat and jam flop- that's a stop n go. Or, you can shove anyway hoping to get called, but in that spot you want a big hand.

Why do I feel this thread is a level....

in many cases when you know you have the best hand (like if your holding AA) having 2 callers is better than having 1
