i've always hated rebuy mtt's, avoid them at all costs never done well
i just joined this new site full of donks, smaller site and alot of the tournies are rebuys, i fell i'm loosing alot of equity not playing them
question i guess is, can i play rebuys like i do every other tourny, and play profitably?
or is it unavoidable for me to adapt my game considerably
as is now i just play super tight and watch the chips fly, and pick them off when i get a monster, should i mix it up and start jamming QThh over three raises trying to get that 100bb stack before break like every other moron? -
i dont play rebuys that much differently than a freezeout other than maybe gambling a littlte more.

Pick people off in the rebuy hour. Practice deep stack poker. You'll be just fine.

rebuys are freezeouts in a way after typically an hour of play. I think it really adds excitment to be able to grow a large prizepool an gain a large stack early. I hear all the time about great online players take down high buy-in rebuy tournaments with only 1 double rebuy and an add-0n at break. rebuys FTW!
