    Why is it that I know to set a limit and dont? Why do I chase loses?

    Ive been a pretty much break even cash game player live for a long time now , always telling myself I was a lil ahead and that I was better than my competition so my run would come. disquising my losses with storys of my "big nights" I have lost my roll so many times i cant count . My girlfriend has dealt with the swongs for four years now while im sure secretly inside she despises the whole thing . I used to love poker, now I cant find the reason I play... sure I say money but honestly I know that cant be true or I would not be "gambling" Id be playing solid poker.
    I lost over half of my roll last night during a out of my roll, tilt, donktard session last night and I just kept chasing my loses I finally left the table this morning after the worst play I have ever made.
    So I realized on the hour drive home this morning I have to stop gambling I hate leaving this game but I am the sucker at the table

    And Fack the horseshoe hammond and its high limit hold em . worst thing that coulda happened to me was bigger games moving into town b4 I was mentally ready.
