Im about to buy a second monitor, and have a question about the dual monitor set up. I have a Samsung Syncmaster 2443NW 24 widescreen, and plan to get another one of the same model. Is it possible to connect both those to the same graphic card, using both the VGA and the DVI port at the same time (maybe using a DVI to VGA swtich to get both on VGA)? If I remember right the graphic card is a GeForce 6200.

Ive talked to a couple of computer stores, but they give me pretty contradictory answers, so I thought it might be best to double check with you guys. Of course Im interested in the long desk option (and not the kind of crap with the same view on both monitors) to be able to play more tables.

  2. You can run 1 in VGA and 1 in DVI with thier cables. As long as you have multiple outputs on your card you can run both. You will have to go to settings--display--and monkey with how you want the resolution etc to get it to look the way you want. You dont need any switches or anything but a dual head card and the monitors with cables to match the cards output. you wont be able to see much of a difference between DVI + VGA as far as playing poke anyway.
