I am backed by a friend of mine who also plays frequently online. Neither of us are pros, however we both play many of th major nightly and weekend tournies. We were friends before this arrangement so there are no trust issues here, and I have access to his account if he isnt around. He transfers (or I do it from his account) the amount needed for my buy ins and then (god willing) any amount I win I ship back to him. We do periodic accounting and if I am in the black I then get my share of the profts. Anyway, I received an email from pokerstars today suspending me from real money transactions pending an investigation to our relationship. I have sent them all the pertinent info and am awaitng a reply whihc is fristrating enough since I am now missing Sunday tournies. My question is, if this is a problem, what do others do? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know what stars will do, I just know that you're not allowed to play under someone else's account.

pokerstars wont care about backing someone else. What they will care about is you logging into his ID and x-fering to yourself, most likely from the same IP that you're playing from. It looks shady to say the least.
