    How long are checks taking these days, or is it better to just go the wire transfer route?

    I ordered a check on a monday, received my check in the mail on the following Monday. I paid for a premium wire transfer right after that and wouldn't recommend it...they hit you with all kinds of middle man fees that nobody tells you about until "after", not to mention FT advertises that there are no fees on their end, which is true, but they just don't tell you about the "in transition fees". It cost me $75 and had it 3 days sooner (4 days wait time) than the check. $75 bucks isn't worth it to have it 4 days sooner IMO.
