quick staking question (not looking for one), just curious...

    ok so for the miniftops main event is $75 .... what would a normal arrangement be to get somebody to split the buyin so i'm not putting up $75 of my own??? it's just a one time thing... so like $37 from each of us , i play, and then split profits 50/50?? is that the norm??

    i'm talking to a rommate who doesnt play poker about it, and just wanna make sure we do it right/the way everybody else does...

    Doesn't sound like a stake, sounds like you are just splitting the buy-in.. 50/50 with no make-up makes sense here, esp if he is a roommate..

    Just think of it as an investment with 2 shares.. you each get one share.. so if you were to cash, you would split the amount you cashed for 50/50

    I don't think u overplayed the second hand too bad but I think possibly in the first hand u did just my opinion tho cause I think 2nd hand TT JJ might pay you off here maybe even QQ I just feel like the 2nd hand I'd hav been more inclined to go off than the first, I also dn what the play is like for the tourney

    none taken... def should have played a smaller pot and just called his turn bet...

    but i still think worse is shoving over me there (straight + flush draws, 1010-KK), no???
