30min blinds > 20min blinds
-
yo sir .... that ceasers tourney is the 7pm
the once at 10 is basically a push/fold by the 4th level.
The Venetian ... you get 7500 with 30min levels
Ceasers you get 10k with 30 min levels and you can buy back in if you bust in the 1st hour
IMO they're about the same. Venetian is prettier -
im trying to remember if they have them in the actually tourney room... I've only played in there like once.

Lately they've been running all the tourneys on the main floor ... all those table have shufflers -
They don't use the tourney room this time of year from what I've seen.

The 7pm tourney at Caesar's is awesome. Super soft..... horrible players.... usually gets around 100 people. If I remember correctly 1st place is usually a little more than $3k. -
Actually that Venetian 7pm IS 20 min blinds...it's their noon that are 30 minutes.
I always recommend a 30 min structure over a 20, but that's my personal preference.
I'd recommend Caesar's 7pm ($160, 10k in chips, 30 min blinds)
or Aria (1pm $120, 8k in chips, 30 min blinds)
Both of those tournaments run every day of the week -
Caesar's is great, Venetian Noon has 30 min levels, that's a good tournament.
I like the Orleans at night. The blinds are 20 mins for the first hour, but then they go to 30 mins after the break. Friday night there is awesome - gets over 100 people, 12,500 starting chips, $125 buy-in.
My opinion.
There is a complete list of every daily poker tournament in Las Vegas on http://lasvegaspokersource.com and also they list all the majors and charity events. -
Actually it's Big STack Bonanza for the whole month so the noon tourney is gone and replaced with one of these events. Check the website...you can find a schedule for the Bonanza. For these events, blinds are 40 minutes. Min buyin is $340 I think during the week, and super soft satellites running early AM.
The 7 pm plays like a turbo IMO and I don't care for it.

The noon tournament will be back at the end of February. The event you're referring to is the Deep Stack Extravaganza and it has replaced all the noon tournys for the month. 7pm tournament is still the same, but I will say they are way bigger in field size right now as they coincide with the deep stack events. I don't like the 20 min blind level either.
Here is a link to the Venetian Deep Stack schedule:

I put this one on here because when I go to venetian.com, I can't always get the PDF file to come up on my computer....don't know if it's a browser issue or what, but this one works for me
