Quitting Poker and "The League"

    I just wanted to make a suggestion to those of you thinking about quitting poker. Join the pocketfives poker league instead. The league holds 2 tourneys a week for a combined total of $33!!! Also, most of the regulars play MUCH higher buy-ins, but play in the league because its fun and its like playing witha bunch of friends.

    The League is a good chance to play with tough competition for very little money. It will keep your game sharp, give you a chance to ride out your streak of bad luck and you wont be risking much....just a suggestion...hope this helps some of you who are having a tough time. If you havent seen it yet, pocketfives was nice enough to give us our own forum. Go under quick links and click on "league forum" to check it out!

    Super, I just wanted to say that I think you are one of the more "positive" posters on the site. I also think that your analysis of a lot of poker strategy is usually very good.... Keep up the good work, and good luck at the tables.

    Well that was awfully nice, thank you very much! If you ever see some sort of strategy related post I make that you dont agree with, please feel free to correct me. I always like to know how other peoples play would differ from me and sometimes I am just flat out wrong..haha..thanks again!
