    2/6 at the break!!!

    Have 200K and chipleader has 220K

    Rivered a FH in Stud8 to suck out against a flush.

    Probably should've folded when 4th diamond fell on 6th but I felt that there was a good chance my opponent was bluffing and just trying to bully me.

    I'll post the hand.
    I guess if I would've thought about it more deeply and not just played based on instincts, I would've folded on 5th or 6th.

    Now I gotta see if I can close it out.

    Here's the hand with the huge suckout.

    I think this is the only hand where I played really badly and it worked out so I won a huge pot.

    This guy did river me for 70K pot when we were down to about 12.

    I almost didn't make the FT.

    I think he also sucked out with trip jacks against my rolled aces.

    I folded on 4th on that hand so I don't really know.

    In any case, he was getting very lucky and I don't feel bad winning this pot.

    Ugh, that sucks.

    I busted in 17th 3 months ago and I hadn't played this tourney more than a couple of times since then.

    I was playing for 1st and it sucks to bust so close to the big money.

    Even the extra $400 for finishing 16th would've been meaningful for me.

    Were you at my table?

    Well,

    I couldn't quite close it out.

    Busted heads up. Villain had a huge chip lead by the time we got there.

    He was abusing the table during the stud rounds prior to this and it switched to holdem on the first hand of heads up.

    Heads up only took about 5 hands.

    I hit a flush on the river to double up and 2 hands later he busted me with a flush on the turn that also gave me 2 pair.

    I guess he maybe folds if I raise pre. But I was trying to avoid another big pot with a junk hand. I figured he's calling heads up with almost any 2 so not much point in raising with 95o. I was trying not to get burnt like what happened in the first hand of heads up.

    Wouldve been nice to hit the str8 here.

    I can't imagine that I can get him to fold on the river unless he's betting a busted flush draw

    5 hands is all it took and it made a difference of $4550

    I'm very happy with the score and I definitely got lucky a number of times to make it this far. The $7950 for 2nd is by far my biggest score ever.

    Still, a little disappointing not to take home the title.

    I can't rly remember - ya, sick pay jump from 17th to 16th all things considered.
