  2. Ran into this twice yesterday and I pushed both times, because it was turbo and they had QQ and AA...I think we should fold 6 hands in. Also how did he lose the 300 chips 6 hands in? Lots of donks will show up w/ some crazy stuff in these $16turbos. I got knocked out of one yesterday on 1st hand allin pre w/ AA to some lunatics A3s.
  3. why not see a flop here? yeah its early and a 3rd of your stack but you run into some donkeys even at that level regardless of the silver star. Would def not push AK this early but seeing a flop might not be a bad player
  4. shove is my default action in nearly every scenario where I am 80bb deep or w/e and I get 3bet. I mean doesnt he need to be only doing this with QQ+, AK for our move to be bad. The fact this is a $16 tourney has alot to do with my decsion making also.
  5. Charlamaigne not to hate but that is the worst advice Ive ever heard. Why not see a flop here u ask? Ill tell you why, because your risking a third of your stack out of postion, against a legit re raise. By flatting here your AK loses all value. AK's key strength comes from utilizing fold equity preflop, and getting to see all 5 cards. By flatting here if u do flop and A or K and your opponent has a re raising hand in the range of 1010-QQ u now have lost almost all value being in that your opponet will more then likly fold to your push or check behind u and fold to any bet on later streets. If your opponent does in fact have AJ or AQ and is willing to re raise them preflop then he is def stacking off on the flop but I am 90% sure if there re poping those hands preflop there stacking off to a shove preflop. Finally if u do shove it in preflop u may induse a fold from 1010-JJ being in that u raised UTG then got 3-bet and then 4 bet shoved in which case u have won the pot with the worst hand. Two more things, if they have AA or KK then your screwed either way unless u flop an A and he has KK then u once again lose all value. In conclusion calling is the worst of your choices and it is monstrously -EV, folding or shoving are both legit actions Id go with shoving, cause hes down 300 chips and its early thus hes a manic.
  6. And as for ibluffheaps im not sure how u can say your default play here is to shove 80bb's deep to a 3 bet, but u have 10 times my profit soooooooooooo.
  7. as you said you cant call - and if you 3bet you are basically commited anyway.... looks 2 be a clear shove or fold 2 me.

never just cold call here. its shove or fold and this early its probably a fold.
  9. its a turbo guys, AK is a solid hand and if you shove and face qq then your flipping for your tourny life early. I still think seeing a flop isnt that bad of a play, you may lose action if you hit, but you wont be sent to the rail if you lose a coinflip.
