    Finishes 3rd in a UBOC event last week, wins a stars 109 2 days ago, wins the 55r last nite, and tonite wins the 100r. This guy is goot.

    I watched him a couple nights ago, and he is awsome. I can't think of many guys that play better than him on a consistent basis.
    He should definately be ranked, just a matter of how high.

    Whoa...didn't expect all this...Don't even know how to respond. Thanks a lot guys! Just got back into MTT's after a semi-extended (on and off for 2 months) break (cash games, family time, vacation, building a house, etc.) and now am back into the swing of things once again. Much appreciated!

    Magician is definately a good player to say the least. I remember when I first got into poker 3 years ago, I'd read all the posts on the cardplayer forums and I paid special attention to magician's posts (and a few other like syndr0me). He's got great insight to the game both cash and mtts and if he plays in volume like a lot of the ranked players do, there's no doubt in my mind he'll be ranked too.

    Mags had some great posts back on the CP forums and obviously is a very smart and talented guy. I'm happy he's been able to make it playing poker and not having to resort to taking a "real" job. :)

    You still play lots of cash games Mags, or just focusing on tourneys now?

    the pro poll is basically PLB points too, players are listed in order of points, so if someone only ranks say 30 players, then whoever is 65th in PLB points will be 65th in that voters pro poll too...

    the pro poll is really only accurate for the top 10 or 20 or so...

    however what the pro poll does do is show players who are highly regarded by their peers... guys like bax, rizen, ari, sheets, me (hehe), lilholdem and others have much higher pro poll scores than PLB scores.... you really have to be established to make any significant noise in the pro poll...

    just saying regardless of how sick CP mag is, these "rank him" comments are pointless... rankings take care of themselves now, keep winning and you will be ranked, you can't be denied, all the criteria is out there...

    I agree, Mag is a great player. I've played him several times and even played him in a heads up tourney. He made some sick laydowns (that I saw) that most players would not have made. Congrats Mag and keep it up.
