  1. I predict first ever African American to be ranked #1 on P5s........
  2. I predict another 28 000 words written by jaychizza tomorrow that I'll have to skim over to find something worth reading..

  3. Why does it matter what race he is? You made a comment about white girls that got your chat perminantly banned on stars....why dont you just leave race out of it. How about....I predict that Jaychizza will be ranked #1 on p5....works just as well.

  8. a person with thicker skin than i
  9. Whats wrong with stating hes African American? When Annette_15 became number 1 it was stated she was first female number 1 ranked. Whats sex got to do with it?

  14. I dont see noting wrong with saying the first african american highly ranked. But sorry to tell you jaychizza i am going for the gold bro. Yes it will eventually be me. Once i stop being a nit a take a shot lol! that is all see u at the top.
  15. I am telling!
  16. This is going to sound racial so I apologize in advance.

I work with a girl (white) from South Africa. She just received her US citizenship after 10 years. SHE"S an African American.

I dont get the AA reference at all. I'm proud of my heritage too, but hell my family came over 300 years ago, we no longer call ourselves Italian Americans, or Dutch Americans or Irish Americans.

And as a matter of fact, when racism reached a highpoint in America in the late 50's-60's, people were called Jewish American, Italian American, Polish American etc... but once that was dropped and we became white guy with a big nose or dark complexion or whatever, the seperatation and predjudice between say the poles and germans, or irish and italian is no longer apparent. Been years since anyone has called me a deigo or wop.

Can't we all just be Americans? Seems this would lessen the seperation a bit.

sorry for the rant, been spending most of my time in OT
  17. Well its a clear fact that women are the weaker sex...so Annette' domination is that much more impressive...since race doesnt matter..its isnt worth mentioning...eh jk...

but really...i just feel that if we dont specify what the color of our skin is we dont have to deal with problems such as Jay Chizza claiming that Poker stars is racist...

But honestly It isnt that big of a deal either way... good luck to u guys...and by "u guys" i mean human beings of all backgrounds
  18. First off gin u are right this is something u have no clue about. We are considered by society as African-american because we are originally let me see how do i say this we are FROM AFRICA! And all we are saying and not making any of it a black and white issue is we want to be the first wave of afro-americans to storm the rankings and there is nothing wrong with that at all. It just gives a person more incentive to work hard and get better. look out for me and my boy 12443267 chizza we on our way! holla
  19. He's going to need a few more PLB points than the 45.92 he's got so far :)

  20. I personally have never brought up the notion of race when it comes to poker. My deal is that I was inspired by Phil Ivey. So like that little kid in his backyard dreaming of being like Mike, I wanna be like Phil... Phil Ivey just so happens to be black, but he is a poker player first. He is respected by white, black, blue green, etc.

It is absolutely my goal to be ranked by P5's someday. I personally feel as though I am no more than 17 months away from top 5. Sure, it'll be cool to be the first black online player ranked top 5 or top 10. But if and / when I get there I won't take it for granted. I think it will be good for poker if more people of color played the game.
