This is right at the table, (ie. he is standing over the table and all the players and spectators can hear him)
Ram wins yet another round of blinds and antes, and Raymer says "...and Ram STEALS the blinds and antes", the camera was on Ram's face, and you can see him cringe in a brief moment of disgust...
What's up with Raymer?!?.. what a punk. -
i like it and anyone who has watched ram play knows hes an over agrro donk
-
obviously a poor choice of words but you're being a little critical.
he says "steals" often enough where he wasnt giving away his own read. -
link....
-
Thats a good point, it may be the case generally--but just now a player raised and won from the button no less, and Raymer says he 'wins the blinds and antes'..
edit: ok, well he just did a similar thing with Carlos Mortenson, asking him if he has 'anything good to show' after taking the blinds and antes, so maybe he's just being a little lax/informal with those he knows/feel comfortable with.. -
Wow the coverage is very cool. Lee is great! And they have a camera that is moving around up above the room which is amazing. It's like those cameras now hovering over the field in NFL games. They are setting the bar very high for Internet coverage. It will be interesting to see what bluff does for the WSOP.
-
Yeah, its amazing.. not what comes to mind when you hear 'live webcast', you get an image of one static camera, with people walking in front of it, etc.. but this is like a real TV broadcast done for us! funny thing is, this coverage is better produced/directed than the WSOP final table live, made for tv, pay-per-view broadcast.

You must be Mike Martin;
"Down to 66 players, the most recent elimination coming up at the hands of Josh Arieh. From the button, he got short-stacked Mike Martin all-in. Arieh held QdJd to Martin's AK. A queen on the flop put Martin behind and he never caught up."
tough luck... how many chips were you at? -
I watched the one two weeks ago in germany and the video would stream. But for me It seems like this one, the video always buffers after about 10 seconds, but the audio always seems to work.
-
I see... yeah, just unfortunate.
How was that table running, with Wahlroos & Arieh, both big stacks--were they taking turns at the blinds and antes, or was Arieh (since i guess he had position), running the table? -
Thomas was pretty tight, picking his spots, he lost about 30k on a resteal. Arieh was 2nd most aggresive at the table, but I had posistion on him and was fortunate to pick up some good spots to shove on him. He limped for 3k and I shoved 40k with 55 and he folded. Next hand he opened utg +1 for 10k and I shoved 55k on top with TT he called with 66.
The most aggresive at the table was this french guy Lellouche. he was basically running over anybody who played a pot with him, was pretty impressive. He was the one who 3 bet Wahlroos's reraise.
The other players at the table included an irish donk, a dutch donk, a tight short stack, and a crazy norwegian shortstack. aka i like my chances with 180k at this table. -
At start of 3k/6k;
Anthony Lellouche 575K
Josh Arieh 450K
I bet it was the first time Arieh found himself second in chips at his table since the first couple of levels on day 1.
Thx for painting us a picture, Martin. -
Amazing.
Haven't been to Monte Carlo since 1999 -
Does anyone know if the payout structure for this is posted anywhere?
-
Lellouche is joining the webcast feature table, let's see how aggressive he will be!
