  1. ok so ima throw out a sitsuation o have been encountering lately....

u 3 bet an open, with the intention of calling/5b shoving...due to hand strength/history etc., but u get cold 4 bet shoved on....

i obv always like to have a plan when 3betting, but i guess my question is, does ur plan change when unknown villian enters and how so??
  2. the cold 4bet is so rare that you gotta make an exception. idk if ur were planning on 3b/C the OR but the cold 4bett is JJ+ AK and the pot odds arent in ur favor then dont get stubborn.
  3. well i dont have hh but heres the example...

    hero. 3500
    op. 1100
    4better. 3000
    25-50, villian opens 150. i 3bet akss to 400, and get 4b shoved for 3k

  4. Depends on your read on the cold 4-better. In the example you gave, if you 3-bet to 400 with AKss and only have 700 left behind, I'm definitely calling regardless of what action is behind me (unless of course it would result in some sort of ICM disaster).

Oh, my mistake, I took "op" to meant original poster, so I misread that. Anyway, it depends on your table image, his table image, buy-in, etc. If it's low stakes I'm probably calling assuming he's just spazzing out, especially if he's an active player.
