A few days ago a total stranger I was playing with at a table on FTP deposited a couple of bucks into my account. I had no idea this option existed, but sure enough, it's called player to player transfer.
This got me to thinking. First, I was wondering whether some of you might be interested also in depositing some cash to my account?
Ok, seriously. Here's the question/idea.
If I were to transfer $$ via paypal to a trustworthy fellow player, then that player were to transfer the same $$ into my account from his own account - why wouldn't that work?
This could be either a player with a hefty acct already (who does not need to worry about deposits into his own account) OR it could be a player from another country such as Canada where it's easy to make deposits.
In fact, this could be a booming little business for an enterprising Canadian - add a little x-fer fee to the transaction and viola! Next thing ya know, there are 200 people a day trying to utilize this new "service" (until FTP catches on and puts the kaboosh on the deal).
Thoughts?
What else is known to work for new deposits these days? Anything besides Western Union?? -
e-checks

So my off topic advice is.... if you are having a shitty day come in here and read some of this stuff. It will either make you laugh at yourself or break a rib laughing at someone else.
