Why is there exactly zero PLO or PLO8 tourneys with a buyin over $30 between 6:30PM and 11:30PM EST on stars and ftp combined?
Gotta bellieve that FTP could fill a $69+6 $10k guar. PLO @ 7:45 PM and a $69+6 $10k guar. PLO8 @ 8:45 PM. For stars, how about a $100+9 $15k guarantee at 9PM, PLO8 on MWF and PLO on the other days of the week?
I enjoy the $100+9 PLO8 on stars @ 3:30PM and the $30 rebuy PLO at 5:30PM on FTP on occasion. But I have a normal job which often precludes playing those tourneys.
Build it and they will come-- put some real PLO tourneys in USA prime time!
And.. if the sites really want to get fancy, they could add antes to some of their PLO tourney structures. No reason why online PLO is played without antes with only rare exception. Antes drive action and rewards true poker play in Omaha as opposed to rewarding those who simply lay in wait for the nuts. -
Omaha is certainly played more in Europe so the few they have are scheduled to suit. I agree with what you said tho.

This used to be the case, and is still somewhat true probably, but I think there are plenty of USA/western hemisphere players to fill a nightly PLO tourney at the $100 level. The lower buyin PLO tourneys with guarantees fill with hundreds of runners-- generally more than similar tourneys in the morning and afternoon, I believe.
