Regarding the $320 on Saturday, we (the Tournaments Team plus some others) had a discussion about it and made the decision to remove it. It's clear that some are upset by this, however I feel that we made the right call for WCOOP, if not necessarily for fans of the Saturday $320.

We are, of course, always open to feedback and try to use it to the benefit of all of our players. We do prefer positive, constructive feedback, of course... but even when it comes in the form of abuse, we try to use it as much as we can to improve our site.
So... thank you everyone for the feedback in this thread. I do not believe that we'll be bringing the $320 back during the rest of WCOOP, but we will certainly discuss the feedback we have received.
All the best,

BryanS -pokerstars,
there isn't one person who would skip the 109 WCOOP to play the $320 mtt. There are plenty of players who would join the 320 today that wouldn't normally play on Saturdays. Do you realize that Stars lost $20 per person that was going to play that tournament and it would have been at least double the size of the normal Saturday $320 field? I don't understand your reasoning for taking this tournament out of the lineup.
Can you please tell us high-stakes players why you feel you made the right call??? It is clearly the wrong decision, what possibly could make you think it was the correct one? I'm having trouble figuring out what angle you could possibly take to say it is in the best interest of pokerstars to not have the tourney.
THE BEST THING ABOUT FTOPS is that the regularly scheduled tourneys on FTP are twice the size during FTOPS, please don't screw this up.. And also, PLEASE put guarantees on the 2nd chances.... even if it's only 10k, the recreational player loves the guarantee! -
He didnt give us a reason, because there is no good reason for them to pull it!

Bryan we all see that a decision was made to take out the 320, hence this thread. Now why don't you explain to us WHY the decision was made. Your response might be one of the worst ever in terms of being helpful. As has been said, no one is skipping the 109 for a 320, but a lot probably skip the 109 because of the lack of 320. Wouldn't this be the opposit of what you are trying to achieve? Also do you think stars could f off and let me win a hand when a tourney gets down to 2 tables before I jump off a bridge, thanks.

what's so hard to understand about having the 320 would have resulted in more players in the wcoop not less -
this really is silly, take out the 1pm 109/lower the 320 gtd are both waaaaaaaay better options

is it really that big of a deal to have 4 pages worth of complaints? just wonderin....its one tournament. *shrug*

Clearly today's WCOOP schedule is being brought to you by the Full Tilt Customer Service department...
not a reg in this tourney but the lack of logic and the fact that support just showed up and pontificated for a couple paragraphs without saying a damn thing is pretty sad. -
Bryan,
You took away a $300 with 20 min levels with a small field and replaced it with a 50,000 person 10 min turbo...itd be one thing if u took out the $100/$40k guar...can we give u the benefit of the doubt and u just misclicked which tourny to AXE? maybe? one time? ok i thought so..fix it next week. -
Bryan,
This is where I think you and some other people who are in charge of these decisions are wrong. You guys are basically just looking at the WCOOP, how you can make your guarantee, and the best way to get a lot of players to play the at the same time. I know it is tough to deal with the WHOLE WORLD and to try to make a schedule where everyone is capable to play. The problem is you have tournaments that run EVERY WEEK. They are signature tournaments. I know everyday I can open up pokerstars at 2pm EST and there will be a 100rebuy for me to play. I know this is a fact.
Now I did the same thing everyone else did. I opened up pokerstars to register for the $320 (I didn't even know the $109 WCOOP was at 12:45 EST) and then I couldn't believe you guys weren't running it.
There is absolutely no reasoning behind this decision. It seems like you guys just worry about making your guarantees for the WCOOP. There would be absolutely no problem making a guarantee for a tournament like a $109 Semi Turbo like you ran today, so I really don't understand the decision (and future decision) to ELIMINATE YOUR SIGNATURE tournaments!
Please explain any logical reasoning on why you remove great tournaments like you did today. Please help us understand, we are all pretty frustrated about this and would like more information. -
