    I'm setting the bar at 8. Played a total of 17 tourneys today, bubbled 8.

    32/259 stars 300 27 paid
    13/286 Stars 100r (final table bubble and only cash of the day)
    45/296 Stars 50r 36 paid
    52/290 FTP 300 36 paid
    30/200 FTP 100r 27 paid
    48/310 Abs 500 36 paid
    161/1090 Stars 500 153 paid
    28/198 Stars 100r 18 paid

    Also got 143/639 in Stars 150 (90 paid) and 438/1639 in Stars 200 horse (176 paid). Those are both semi-bubbles but a good amount of time was spent in both of them.

    Basically biggest waste of a day ever. A little luck, turn of a card, who knows and this could've been an insane day. Well, there's always tomorrow.

    if finishing 438th when 200 spots pay is a semi bubble I have bubbled almost everything I have ever played.

    you should shower earlier and more often!!!!!

    i think it was 4 a week ago. not as high as you obv or for as much money but still to play a couple of hours to bubble is frustrating

    I'm certainly not one to give you advice, but I dont think i could pop that many bubbles making a glass of Alka-Seltzer.

    My previous record was 6, so I believe you have the new record. However, I think I still have one record that may stand forever: 4 consecutive 100r bubble boy's (3 stars, 1 ub). And when I say bubble, I mean being the bubble boy (1 spot out of money) all 4 times. Anyone who beats that record gets my deepest sympathy.

    difference between going "ape shit" and playing to win. if you bubble a lot it shows youre trying to maximize profits by not wanting to just squeeze in and go out in the first pay structure

    i think I had at least 10 in a day back in july when I was chasing a triple crown. I can't be sure though, it depends on how you define exactly what a 'bubble' is. My description is when you finish within 50% of the field to the bubble. i.e. 50 places pay, 51-75 is the bubble

    Its so much better emotionally to just bust out early than have a day like that...

    i was the bubble boy 8 times in a row one day. good thing someone found me self-stomped on a curb and took me to the hospital.

    this whole maximizing the bubble seems like its such standard play now that everyone knows what youre doing and they call for the hell of it. i am contemplating attacking the blinds right after the bubble for a change of pace and ease on the br. it used to work, now not so much.

    I dont even maximize the bubble unless I have some Octimus Prime sized gargantuan stack. In most of these tourneys 90% of the players in them could care less about bubbling which in turn makes it much less profitable to attack the bubble.
