  1. Lets say a horse makes a side deal and borrows money because hes busto and his backer isnt around.
If the horse isnt able to repay within the agreed time frame , would it be acceptable or bad form, to ask the backer directly for repayment.

If it is acceptable , why would the backer be willing to clear his horses debt?

I'd love to hear from backers too

wasnt sure if this post belongs in ot bb or pd.
  2. Not acceptable unless both the person making the loan and the backer were made aware of this arrangement first.
  3. If he wasn't able to pay back in the agreed timeframe he shouldn't have taken the loan to begin with. It's not the backers fault you're a sick fuck who can't not play cards for a few days.

thanks...does it make a difference if the one that loaned on the side was the one who wanted to ask the backer?

Still not the backer's problem.. If the backer wants to do anything its fine, but he/she is far from obligated to get involved and can consider whether this is the type of person that is worth backing to begin with.
