Keep up the good work.
I sent an email. Ill update this thread with the response at the end of the year. -
This has happened to me multiple times, and each time i have emailed Full Tilt ranging between 2 weeks ago and 2 months....Not a single response back. Didn't really matter because I said goodbye to the money the second I realized it knowing nothing was gonna happen
-
used to happen to me on stars they'll just blame it on your internet connection and say something like your connection was spotty the second the tourney opened or something like that
-
not sure i get the deal here. you reg'd. you had to go to the tourney lobby to do that. so the time comes for the game to start, are you saying you never got seated? weren't able to access the lobby and click, 'take my seat'? OP and 1st responder are a little vague here, imo.
-
Words seem too advanced for you. Would you rather me draw you a picture?

i'd like you to actually explain what happened
and perhaps be a little more condescending. -
ever consider restarting the application or searching yourself on the software?
-
now now, lets not get hasty.
i'm terribly unreasonable.
i guess the OP just passed out and forgot he entered. -
Well I can't speak for OP but I assume I understand what he is talking about because something similar has happened to me a few times like I had stated. I have registered for a tourney, but once the tourney started the window never opened up to actually play the tourney.
If you are someone who plays many tournaments at one time, and pre registers for many hours in advance, you don't really check for them as you are busy playing other tournies and just expect Full Tilts Software to not suck and open up the tournaments as they start.
Hope that helps clarify the situation -
this thread is delivering so far, that says a lot for a FTP complaint thread.
-
i get that you guys multi table, but it seems that if you dont even notice that a tourney you entered hasnt appeared in long enough time to get completely blinded out, maybe you need to be playing fewer tables.
i'll play the tape to the end for you though. Full Tilt owes you nothing. -
I think it is pretty clear from the OP that this is what happened. This has never happened to me and probably wouldn't be a big deal for me because I would likely realize after a few minutes if my tourney never popped up because I only play 4-6 tournaments at a time. But for people who play a lot more tables, or even worse for people who play sit n go's, this would be a big problem. GL getting your money back, if this was on stars you would have a really good chance of getting your money back (one time that I admitted to Stars that I passed out when I was registered for a heads up SNG and I got blinded out by a guy who I obv had no connection with, so they gave me my money back, I was very surprised), but since it was on Full Tilt you will probably not get your money back.

I had similar thing happen on FTP last night... was in sattellite sngo it came up but none of the buttons work... couldn't hit "I'm Ready" then when i got cards couldn't hit fold/call/raise nothin...wasn't my cpu cuz i was playing on stars. I e-mailed them explaining sichiation.
... I closed out and and then i'd double click on ftp and nothin would happen... restarted cpu... got bak in w/ 7of the 9 ppl left and shot AQ all in dialed by AT and gg me.
They got bak to me few hours later sayin they saw that i was able to reconnect and were happy for me or some shit. So ya gfy Howard Lederer -
This has happened to me on party on several occasions. When you're playing a shitload of tournaments, U dont notice that one of them never opened, until at the end of your session when you go like: "Hey, wtf happened in that tourney??".
Never got a refund from Party, even tho its their shitty softwares fault. GL getting a responce from FTP tho. -
due respect to CBG, a player and poster whom I admire, but i dont see how this particular OP makes anything clear.

meh, fawk it, im goin back to OT. -
This would be impossible for me to do. I play at 3 sites and like to keep 15ish going and have sngs mixed in. anytime i get knocked out i scan the lobby on the other monitor and quick reggy in something that looks good on any site. after 4 hrs of playing no way in hell i can remember what should be popping up on what site. the time it would take to write down what i entered and cross it off when it pops up while 15+ tabling would be more than i can afford. honestly i have no idea if ive missed tourneys before. But if they have a glitch in the software.... i would expect a different answer from you if it happened to one of your poker buddies or some ranked player that you admire. just my .01c. also op came off as kinda a ass ( i did get a good laugh tho) yes but this is a pretty self explanitory post and there have been many, many, many posts about this happening at ftp in the past. im guessing 10+ at the very least. So yes ftp should get there shit together
