Reno/Tahoe - Hotels,Tourneys & Cash

    Going out to Reno/Tahoe in July for the first time. Any suggestions on where to stay and play would be helpful. I am trying to keep this half-way economical on the room, but nothing too cheap. For poker are there any good daily/weekly tourneys and what is the best spot for cash.

    Harvey's is your best bet for cash games (Tahoe). Don't waste your time in Reno. They spread various NL from 100+ buy-in. On Fri/Sat., they should have a max buy-in of 1K. Think it's 2/5. Have fun. I love Tahoe!

    The Peppermill is your best bet in Reno. They have a few daily tournaments and 1/2 NL (where buyin cap is determined by the "chip leader" at the table). I think they also have 2/5 NL.

    Also if you like to eat go to the 4th street bistro. Way way better than garbage casino food.
