I am not the guy but I have smoked most of every day for the last 4-5 years with a one 8month dry spell.(not bragging way to much i know) And i recently cut way way back now its 2-3 time a week tops and I adjusted fine no one needs weed to play poker it is just a habbit alot of us learned to play while high I assume and are high so much its a everyday part of our life so playing poker on it is normal.
The only real thing I noticed is I was a bit grouchy about bad beats at first maybe mental withdraws lol but other than that I feel crisper and play well.
Weed is wonderfull but people who think it cant harm you are dumb sure theres no real major down sides of somone who enjoys a joint a few times a week but for someone like me who smoked all day every day for years it certainly has some side affects. -

it just depends wut kind of person u r. im not mentally engineered to stare at a computer screen for 8 hrs a day and maintain sanity. i get so tilted sometimes off back-to-back bad beats, software/internet malfunctions, players berating me or just the thought in the back of my mind that I have several hours ahead of me in the session and I'm not free until then.
Smoking b4 and during every session helps me stay concentrated, motivated and helps me to make indifferent decisions in situations emotions have dictated my actions in the past.
I've never booked a winnin session when I wasn't high for as long as I've played poker, and I intend on keepin it up, as long as it doesn't negatively affect my life in any way (its never decreased my productivity, never made me lazy, and i smoke legally in California, so life is good!) -
I failed in the experiment so I think it is only fair to call the whole thing off. I apologize for being a shitty catalyst in an otherwise great experiment. This experiment has helped to reveal my own personal demons on lack of will power that hopefully I will address with age and experience. Weed is not chemically addictive but is very psychologically addictive.
As far as poker, I think weed is an obstacle for learning but an inhibitor for focus. I babbled on it in my final blog so I will not repeat myself. I appreciate the support from everybody during these past 9 days
