1. Below is a description of what they are doing. Obviously this totally screws me but I guess its better than nothing. I had 120k (2nd in chips) with 43 left at disconnect. Id like to think I win the tourney .3% of the time from there. After the crash I couldn't log in and had to just sit there and watch the people who could log in steal my blinds. Evidently they are letting the people who were able to stay logged in keep there profit. MBN to have 7 of 9 people at ur table sitting out deep in a Sunday major.

Dear David,

My name is Sammy from the Tournament Administration team, and I would like to apologize for the difficulties you encountered during Sunday’s $100K Guaranteed. We know how painful it is to make it through a field of 400 + players and then be interrupted at a crucial point by technical issues, and we wanted to tell you what happened.

At 8:09 PM ET on Sunday we had a significant database issue and had to restart our servers. During that restart a number of players were disconnected, and were not able to resume game play. We know now that we should have stopped the tournament instead of allowing it to complete.

In the interest of fairness we’ve decided to compensate all players who received less than what they would have had we stopped the tournament. We will pay the full difference, totaling more than $45K, to the 35 players adversely affected by this error. The 8 players on the final table that received more than they otherwise would have will simply get to keep their winnings.

As you were one of the 35 players negatively affected, we have made manual adjustments to your account as per our Tournament Cancellation policy that we hope you find to be fair compensation. You can read more about our policy here: (http://poker.bodog.com/tournaments/tournament-cancellation-policy.html)

Based on our review, there were 43 players remaining in the tournament when the system was restarted. Since 63 places were paid in this tournament, $5,400 was allocated towards 63rd – 46th place winners and $800 to 45th and 44th place winners. As such, all remaining players were awarded $400 from the prize pool totaling $17,200. The remaining prize pool of $76,600 has been distributed based on stack size. At the time the system was restarted, you had 119,942 in chips which consisted of 5.92% of all remaining chips and should have won $4,937.07 based on the tournament cancelation policy. As you have received $900 for your 13th place finish, we have issued an additional $4,037.07 to your account.

We hope that you find this resolution to be fair and sincerely appreciate your patience as we searched for a resolution that would best fit the circumstances. Please accept our deepest apologies if this matter was not initially addressed to your complete satisfaction. If you wish to discuss this matter further, I invite you to contact me directly at sammy@bodog.com or the toll free number listed below during regular business hours and your call will be directed appropriately.

2. I just received ~$1700 from the equity chop and good for Bodog for going back and making the situation as right as possible.
why does bodog think it would be unfair to take money away from the few players who were able to steal blinds. even those players are the FT were saying that the tournament was not fair and would not count.

3. I know you are a beast and all but you really think you win it 30% of the time in that situation?????

Only 2nd place? You did have 2% of chips in play with 43 players remaining, Im sure you win this at least 85% of the time............

Obv Doc could have changed his post since you replied with this but it says .3% which is not 30% its actually 0.30% which is less than one percent of the time. (Now that I think of it that seems to small so what do I know maybe he changed it or he meant 3%/30%)

it was obv changed. if a top player has 6% of the chips in play and only wins .3% of the time something is wrong.

14. Starting an email campaign to get Doc Sands his proper equity based on his skill over the field. Who's with me ?!?! This injustice will not stand!!
