yeah 25bbs is a great stack size to shoot for it's the 12 bbs and below you don't want to fuck with.... but it is also completley player dependant. I mean some guys have no probl. open raising with 15bbs and folding, some guys are never going to raise 15bbs and fold to a shove. But if you aren't raising and folding with 25bbs your either way to tight or way to loose.

I guess what I was really asking in aren't players tighting up when they are below 25 bbs...say 20? I know it depends on position but don't their hand selections from all positions tighten up. I thought a lot of good players don't raise/fold 20bbs<.......so wouldn't it be a bad idea to steal from them?

It depends on the situation, if an average stack is like 25 BB's or so, then yah restealing is ok from them. Players are typically playing relatively tighter in the 11-20 BB neighborhood. It's not retarded but shouldn't be done often and is very player dependent. Players with 20 BB's have a lot less to lose than someone w/ 50 BB's. Thus they are often a bit more willing to gamble for a stack if they think they are in a race situation, or behind only slightly. (obv if someone feels they are ahead, they will take it no matter their stack)

if he shoves 14k +22k=36k only cost u 15k more to call i f u r restealing this is a now actualy close more then 2.3:1 so now ure fucked u should probly fold but know ure giving up equity by doing so with say like 89s. resteal 35bb or 18bbs or less, easy folds or calls.
