  1. Felt like I was up against a set and/or AXs, combo draws- guy who shoved later said he had AKo... fml. Should I be checking flop, leading diff amount, etc. Thanks in advance.

  2. Call.
Looks like a flushdraw or Ax. But IMHO its a flushdraw.
    Call everytime.
I don't think he has a set, with a set u want to get many many chips and to go allin would be the worst case even if he would have tried to protect against a FD.
  3. he could have a set, after a bet and a raise, with also 2 draws on board moving in is not completely unreasonable. One of you figures to have the draw, the other the A, so he could very well be thinking he'll get a call.
  4. I find myself folding here preflop most of the time. Is this a mistake? Sorry to hijack thread, but it's because of situations like this that I have leaned toward a fold pre more and more.
  5. I don't think it's a mistake to fold pre, but I felt like I was getting good odds to see a flop.

And I was thinking along the same lines as Mac with the action postflop- I bet, get reraised (with what was maybe a strong A or combo draw), then guy overshoves-seemed like a set he was protecting from draws or hoping to get calls from combo draws, AK, AQ type hands- turns out it was AKo which seem a little hasty, but hey he won the hand.

  6. Same logic holds true for AK, but he's massively overplaying his hand.
