So, I had a little less than 20 BBs and I am wondering if it was right of me to push here? I wasn't really sure what he had, but the raise appeared to be a steal. I was thinking he had something along the lines of KQ/QJ. The blinds were 15 minute blinds though, so I still feel I had time to build up my stack...Maybe pushing here wasn't the best idea?
I appreciate your help. Thanks guys.

If the villain had been active, I like repopping here because you have a blocker and even if called will have at least 30% equity. Given that you'll get folds a large percent of the time, it's a good reshove. If the villain had been tight, then it's not a good play as A3 is crushed by anyone's value opening range.
P.S. Try to title your threads a bit better in the future as you'll probably get more views/comments. -
Def don't like shoving A3o against a 3x open. You have some FE but A3 plays poorly against his opening range even if he's loose. You're dominated a lot of the time by pairs and Ax. I'd rather shove suited bway cards or A10+ in this spot.
-
yeah i agree I don't like the reship because when they 3x like that they are rarely folding to a reshove thats only 10bbs more to call. I would rather just open jam in late position with a wide range then rejam in this spot.
-
Definitely would safe my chips for a safer spot, the likelyhood of you getting called his good.. and the likelyhook of you getting called and being dominated is even better.. def wait

Ignore my original post. Villain is too short stacked to be raising light here. A3 is going to be dominated. When I looked at stacks I must have confused button and SB stacks and thought villain had 60+bbs, not 16.
