  1. I registered for two UBOC events that never went off because of to few players. Money was taken out of my account $25.00 + $2.50 and $10.00 + $1.00. After sending customer support more than 10 emails and UB not responding, what are my options? Has this happened to anyone else? I have sent tourney ID #'s, dates, times and amounts to a UB pro. Is the Gaming Commision my next move.

  3. How long has it been since the events were cancelled? UB is notoriously slow and shitty about responding to customer issues (one of the main reasons I don't play there anymore)...flooding them with repeated E-mails like you did only makes it worse. Just be patient, and keep this in mind the next time you choose your site at which to play.

  8. Other than the UBOC and maybe the sunday majors, this site isnt worth the effort. To be honest, I think they have the best structure and a very good interface, but as much as they can see everyone complaining about customer service and support, you'd think they'd want to take some initiative and start working on it. I truely believe they could be in the league w/ pokerstars and FTP if they would do more to make their customers happy and raise their guarantees...

    only been a week at 10 e-mails..

    site really should be banned by pkt 5's till they treat us with some respect..

  17. I used to enjoy playing on UB (not so much anymore). Obviously there are a lot that they can improve on and emails are one of them. I can count the number of emails that I have sent UB on my fingers, and not once was I satisfied with their response. When they did respond to an email, it was something like we have transferred your inquiry to the appropriate department. If you have any other questions or concerns, please dont hesitate to ask us. We value you as a customer etc. etc.

    Unfortunately, the message that I feel that I am receiving from UB goes more like this, I am sending you a generic email response. I actually have no idea how to answer your simple inquiry on my own, so I will pretend to do something about it. In all likelihood, I wouldnt be surprised if no one ever gets back to you, and you know what? I DONT CARE! Not my concern really. Its not like if there are any consequences if your question is never resolved or answered. Thanks for playing!"
  18. Any response would be better than nothing at all. It's typical for UB to let you know they received your email 1st. That is the key they don't respond at all.

  19. When I email support through the poker client, it seems as if the email gets lost somewhere and they eventually get it a week or two later. When I email them at support@ub.com, their response time is usually less than 24 hours. Try that, and gl.
  20. Thanks hrk tried that on 12/01 then again on 12/04 after they stiffed me again. Then I sent tourny ID #'s to UB rep/pro Krazy Kanuck still nothing wtf.

    UB owes me TD's for 5 WINS! And of course they are ignoring my emails.
    This has gone beyond annoyance and become theft.

  24. What's the over/under on whether the other players in the same tourney got their buyins back as well? I imagine they all have to try 3-5 emails before they get their buyins back and those that didn't notice won't see it back.

    Remember, they are AP now.
