    Sunday night he went to the emergency room. Wednesday he had
    his gall bladder taken out. Gook luck get well soon.

    Hey everyone. I don't know if you all have noticed or not, but I've been absent for almost a week now. Sunday afternoon, I started having some pretty severe pain in my upper abdomen/lower chest area. I didn't think much of it at first, but it was bothersome enough I skipped out on some of the Sunday tournaments. As the night progressed, it got much more intense and eventually I went to the emergency room.

    As it turns out, my gall bladder had pretty much ceased functioning and was causing some pretty extreme pain in the process. After running lots of tests etc I finally had it taken out Wednesday and I'm home today. I'm feeling much better, but still a little sore from surgery. I'm going to keep this brief for now since I have a lot of things to do now that I'm home, but wanted to let everyone know I'm home and okay. I have no idea when I'm going to go back to playing, the pain meds I'm on probably aren't very good for my poker game. I think I'm going to just take a few days getting used to being back home and see what I can and can't handle, maybe play some cash games where I can quit if I feel I'm not sharp, and generally take it pretty easy.

    I'll keep everyone up to date. I'm pretty tender, but otherwise feeling pretty good.

    funny how hes already started to think when hes gonna get back to poker, when he just came from the hospital. i would rest take some days off before thinking about poker again.

    When I was like 14-15, my appendix ruptured, and I spent like 12-13 hours in emergency before the surgeon came and told me the ER staff was going home soon, and that they can operate on me if I make up my mind within a couple minutes. I say sure, and he fills out my paperwork quickly, then some nurses take me down to get operated on.

    As I'm getting wheeled into the room, the one nurse says "aren't you a little young to get your gall bladder taken out?" Apparently they wrote down the wrong operation.

    Brag: Still have my gall bladder
    Brag: Dodged a malpractice
    Beat: I probably could have made a cool million even earlier if they had malpracticed(this is an uneducated statement, don't flame pls)
