    Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I've been out with the wife/kids tonight or I would have responded to this sooner. I elaborated a lot about this on my website, but the people at Lock Poker are incredible. Their entire philosophy is centered around the player. I know that sounds super marketing speak-ish (if that's even a phrase) but it is something that I've seen first hand in both their approach to everything in meetings and some of the tools that are in development for the players (which obviously I can't elaborate on much at this time).

    Quite honestly in every meeting I've ever had with them they've always been asking 'Eric, what can we do to make this better for the players?' or 'Do you think players would like it if we gave this to them?' sort of questions and never 'What can we do to maximize the # of players here?' or 'How can we get players to generate more rake?'. It's not that they don't care about those things at all, but their entire business philosophy is based around taking care of their players, and in turn when they do that they figure the business side of things will take care of itself because players will WANT to be there. I will be an integral part of the 'voice of the player' but it's certainly not limited to me. I know they listen to all the feedback they get from their players and that I will certainly be listening to any feedback given to me and take it to them as well.

    As some people have said, Lock Poker is a new room (and a skin of the Cake Poker Network), and they were a part of the Bluff Poker Challenge. They're growing and I'm very excited to get in on the ground floor where I really feel like I have have a lot of input and impact into how the site grows and develops.

    I already feel like I'm coming dangerously close to crossing the line in terms of sounding like I'm marketing here (and admins, feel free to edit or ask me to edit certain points if I've crossed any lines, I've tried to be careful to keep this to just informing, not promoting), I'm just really excited to be a part of Lock Poker. If you have any other specific questions you can post them here or PM me and I'll answer everything to the best of my ability.

    I decided to join Lock. Only played 3 games so far, cashed in all three. But...

    Let's just say...I hope some of the changes that we're hearing are coming will actually come.

    I already sent an e-mail to Lock about changes needed yesterday. We'll see how long it takes them to respond.

    Rizen, I hope things go well for you with Lock, but I have to say that as of right now this looks like a LONG journey. Maybe the challenge is what intrigues you?
