  1. Does anyone know which of the casinos in Vegas offer good comps for play in their poker rooms? I'm looking for comped rooms. Any info you can provide would be great, thanks.
  2. I have stayed at the Orleans, which is off the strip, and for 3 hours per day of play I was comped $150 against a $300 hotel bill. It is off the strip but nice and a free shuttle runs to the strip every 20 minutes or so. The 1/2NL game there was quite soft with plenty of action.

  3. I don't believe any hotels in Las Vegas will give you a total comp for poker. They just don't make as much money off of you as they do with the other games(blackjack, slots, etc.)
  4. This site is a good place to start. Full "Comps" on poker only play are not likely but if you toss in some -EV (BJ, Bac, Craps..etc) you will get fully comped. Upscale strip casinos (Mirage, Caesars, Palms...just stayed there, MGM require 4-6hrs per day play with an average bet above $110 to comp both room & food. We usually pool our money on the -Ev games to make our requirements. You can always stay at alotofvagina's hotel & play elsewhere....bring some lysol.

  5. one word: Wynn
  6. most casinos offer a 'poker room rate,' but you usually have to ask the poker room manager for it and you also need to play X number of hours per day...

As for the -EV games someone mentioned, trust me you spend more losing the money than it would be to just pay for the room.....That being said, I get room, food, and sometimes travel expenses comped because I like to gamble! Stupid, Stupid me....

  7. have to agree with scipio on this one. the wynn has thus far treated me like a queen. i am not by any means a high roller... when i played there i played $4/8 limit. i played nickel slots a little bit while waiting (and actually never lost on them, in fact i think i made more on slots than poker, haha) and twice have put in maybe a half hour of $10 blackjack. but i ALWAYS present my card and ALWAYS make sure they know i want to be rated, no matter how small my stakes are. so far i've gotten a ton of free stuff from them, including free nights at the hotel (more than once, even!), free buffets (yum), show tickets, etc. and they are so nice to me! if i could justify spending more than like $50 a night when i go to vegas, i would never stay anywhere else.
  8. Thank you all for your help.

  9. Poker room rates are available at Caesar's. Only two problems there:
    1) they have trouble keeping cash games going during the week; tables are always breaking in favor of the tournament they run at noon
    2) the poker room rate is invalidated on days where rooms are going for more than $400 that night (something they will likely forget to tell you).
  10. I stay at the Bellagio under the poker rate of 149 weekdays, 219 weekends. They jacked up the rates slightly this year......
intrigued by Wynn stories, but nothing like staying at the Bellagio and comin down whenever to the best poker room on the strip......plus managers are fantastic there esp. Danette, Charlene, Colette, Maria, Skip, etc. great ppl and there for you with whatever you need.....
  11. I was at the Mirage couple weekend ago, the rate is 179 on the weekend, with 8hrs of play a day. Just have to contact the Poker Office. The 1/2 Nl are really juicy. Buy in for the full amount and you can play very LAG, i saw at least 75% of the flops, no one raises. When I made my big hands I got paid off. Just have to realize they don't fold too, so don't get frustrated when they chase that one card flush to the river and hit.
