What are the official rules on the way blinds are posted? It was my understanding that these are basic rules of Texas Hold Em and are not open for debate. My specific question concerns what happens when the big blind busts out of a hand. For as long as I've been playing on Bodog, they've handled this incorrectly based on everything I know - if the big blind busts out on Bodog, they have the guy who was under the gun post the small blind on the next hand, and the guy who had been utg+1 ends up posting the big blind. Out of all the sites I play on, they're the only ones who do this, and it's the same in any casino - the button moves, there's a "dead" small blind, and the utg player posts the big blind. Am I wrong? I've sent them numerous emails to no avail - first they said it was some software "glitch" but now they just don't respond & it's obvious they're not going to do anything about it. Like with the latest sofware "upgrade," we now have blinking player lights when we're thinking (very important stuff, there), but the big blind issue remains. Help!
